Understanding the debate
The calls consulted draw four benchmarks: October 22 and 24, then November 3 and 5. Two organizations may be targeting the same date for different reasons. Reading the name of the signatory remains as important as reading the calendar.[1][6]
In Paris, the appeal of October 22 was followed by a prefectural ban. For the 24th, the press reported two declarations, including a Bastille–Opéra project, without a final administrative decision consulted. Nationally, details must be worked out city by city.[4][3]
Thursday October 22 in Paris: the demonstration banned
The organizers had announced a departure at 2 p.m. in front of the Pitié-Salpêtrière, boulevard de l'Hôpital, then a journey towards Bastille. On October 21, the Police Headquarters banned this demonstration, citing risks to property and people.[2][4]
The ban concerns this meeting on October 22. It does not allow us to conclude that all demonstrations on the 24th are prohibited. Each date and each declaration must be compared to the administrative decision which is specific to them.[4]
Saturday October 24: several calls converge on a date
October 17 Gilet Jaune announces Act II. The CNL is also calling for this day. This establishes a shared meeting, without making their demands or their organizational structures identical.[5][1]
In Paris, the press reports two declared routes: Bastille–Opéra for the coordination of the Yellow Vests and another project carried by the CGT. Their deposit does not constitute definitive validation; routes, timetables and restrictions remain to be checked with the Police Headquarters.[3]

Tuesday November 3: two announcements to distinguish
The CNL announces a national high school day. Separately, the four railway federations are planning a rally on wages in front of SNCF management in Saint-Denis. These announcements do not establish a common procession and the timetable for the railway assembly is not specified here.[1][7]
Thursday, November 5: interprofessional day
The joint CFDT, CGT, FO, UNSA and FSU declaration targets wages, public services, employment and industry. The text from the railway federations calls for a strike that same day. The terms and conditions in a company, a school or a train line cannot be deduced from these calls.[6][7]
How to use this calendar
Start by identifying the date, city and type of appointment. Then consult the indicated source to verify the author, time and possible modifications. For a procession, note both the gathering place and the proposed route. The general reporting rule and local decisions are two separate pieces of information.[8]
We distinguish three levels of reading: the call indicates an intention; a documented declaration describes the terms and conditions transmitted to the administration; a report after the date allows us to talk about an event actually observed. This editorial classification avoids transforming the projects on the agenda into reports.

Demands and positions
What is confirmed
All four dates appear in identified calls. The CNL meeting announced on October 29 is an organizational meeting, not a new national event.[1][6]
The Parisian route of 22 was announced then banned. For the 24th, two declarations were reported by the press, without a final administrative decision being consulted.[4][3]
What remains to be verified
For October 24, the final routes, complete timetables and administrative decisions applicable in each city.[3]
The local program for October 31: no sufficiently precise original document was retained to register it as a confirmed appointment.
The numbers of participants and the effects on services: this calendar cannot predict them.
