Privacy Policy
Understand local storage, external links and your choices on manifs.win.
Updated Oct 21, 2026
The scope of this policy
This policy describes the functions present on manifs.win on the date indicated. The site can be viewed without an account or connection. It does not offer registration for an event and does not collect payment.
Editor: Camille (pseudonym), individually.
To contact the publisher: contact@manifs.win.
What stays in your browser
At your request, the browser keeps your “For” or “Against” choice, favorites, draft news and surveys, as well as suggested links. These elements are stored in localStorage under the france-en-clair:v1 key, so they can be found on this browser.
The current code does not pass these records to a server. They are not synchronized between devices and do not form a public voting base. Old drafts can be kept in a local archive included during an export.
Consultation remains possible without these functions. If the browser refuses the recording, a message indicates this; the choice may then disappear when reloading.
Duration and deletion
There is currently no automatic expiration applied to local recordings. They remain until deleted by you or the browser. Favorites can be removed one by one and drafts reset in the editor.
To delete all site data, open your browser's privacy settings, search for manifs.win in the site data, then delete this data. This operation also erases your choice, your favorites and your drafts. The site will not be able to restore them. An already downloaded JSON file must be deleted separately on your device.
Messages and suggestions
The home suggestion button only saves a local note: it does not send it to the editor. To send a request, use only the means indicated on the contact page.
If you write by email, your address and the content of the message are processed by the email services used. Do not transmit passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive data at your request.
Google Analytics and your choice
With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and pages viewed. No Google Analytics scripts load until you accept. You can refuse with the same ease, then change your choice at any time via “Choice of cookies” in the footer.
The consent choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are configured with a maximum duration of 180 days without automatic renewal. Refusal after acceptance deactivates collection on this browser and deletes these cookies; Data already transmitted is not automatically deleted.
Visit data may include the page viewed, a browser identifier, technical device information and traffic origin. We remove the parameters and fragments of the transmitted addresses as well as the path of the referring sites. Searches, forms, favorites and your For or Against choice are not sent to Google by our code. Enhanced measurement and advertising signals are disabled.
The service is provided by Google. To find out about its treatments and possible transfers outside your country, consult the Google privacy policy. For requests regarding your data, use our contact page.
Cookies, advertising and audience measurement
The site loads the Google AdSense script (publisher pub-8155919263293797). Ad requests are currently paused: no ads are requested by our integration. Loading the script establishes a connection with Google; existing Google cookies can be read. The pause does not constitute advertising consent. Before the ads are served, a consent management platform certified by Google must be configured for the visitors concerned. The choice relating to Google Analytics does not give consent to advertisements.
Cloudflare also injects a traffic and performance measurement script (Cloudflare Web Analytics) when serving pages. This script transmits technical measurements to Cloudflare. The local data of your review is not transmitted with the sharing links. The WhatsApp and Facebook buttons open the chosen service only when you activate them; this service then applies its own confidentiality policy.
External connections and links
The site is hosted and distributed by Cloudflare (Workers and static resources). Access involves the processing of technical data, including IP address and query information, to route and secure connections. We do not enable Workers application logs. Cloudflare may process technical data for its own service and security operations; consult his Privacy Policy to find out more.
The protest map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. When this page is opened, the tile server necessarily receives technical connection data, including the IP address, browser information and requested tiles. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
The photos and fonts used by the site are served with its files. Other cited sites open when you follow their links and then apply their own policies, cookies and connection conditions.
Your requests and updates
For local data, you can act directly in your browser; the publisher does not have a server copy allowing them to be found. If you have any questions about a message sent or about this policy, please use the contact page.
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may request access, rectification or erasure of your data, or assert other rights. You can also consult the CNIL. Any significant change in functionality will result in an update of this page.
